Barratt
Rachel (Cooper) and John Barratt were the
parents of Samuel Henry Barratt who married Marie
Cantwell, 22 Feb 1927, at Morristown, New Jersey.
Samuel was born 17 May 1902, at London, England.
Marie, daughter of Margaret Mary (Boyle) and John
Cantwell, was born 16 Jul 1903, at Paterson, New
Jersey. Marie (Cantwell) and Samuel Henry Barratt
had four children, Samuel W. Barratt; Rosemary Elizabeth
Barratt; Margaret Mary Barratt; and Ann Marie Barratt.
Samuel W. Barratt was born 29 Dec 1927, at Bernardsville,
New Jersey. Samuel married Mary Jane Cooney, 10
May 1952.

Richard Paul Choyce, Jr.
and Rosemary Elizabeth Barratt
were married 2 Oct 1954
at Bernardsville, New Jersey.
Rosemary (Barratt) and Richard Choyce had
nine children. The first two were born at
Plainfield, New Jersey. Then, Western Electric
once again transferred Richard to their
Bell Telephone Laboratories in Massachusetts.
The Choyce family decided to locate over
the border in Salem, New Hampshire where
they bought a big house on St. Mary’s
Lane.
The remainder of their children were born
three miles away, at the Bon Secours Hospital
in Methuen on the Massachusetts side of
the border. All except Nancy, she couldn’t
wait.
